Playing Madden at 47 years old

So I'm an old guy. Still love this game but man is it getting harder as I get older. I still like to play on all madden but I don't know how many years I've got left till I have to bring down the difficulty.

At this age, I just dont have the reaction time and quick decion making I used to. I used to be able to scan the whole field in a microsecond, now it takes much longer and I often miss receivers that are open.

During the rush, sometimes you only have a second and a half a to make a decision and if your first look isn't open, it'll lead to a sack. So I've taken the liberty to up the pass blocking slider to help with this but it's never something I've had to do in the past.

Playing games that involve skill and quick decision making have always been some of my favorite. I've basically abandoned pvp shooters because I just can't compete with that 18 year old who can hit me before my old brain has a chance to even register they're there. Getting older as a gamer who loves madden and other skill based games just sucks.

My running back, Marvin Fede, #1 in rushing yards in the nation, winner of the Heisman, the Doak Walker Award, the Paul Hornung Award, the Walter Camp Award, and the Maxwell award, did not get drafted into the NFL.

Even my WR 2 got drafted, and I hardly threw it to him. What gives?

This seems to happen whenever I'm in a big and loud stadium. Is this a feature or a bug?

I hope it's a bug because it's literally unplayable. Does anyone know a workaround?

Edit: I'm on PC

With the amount of product placement in Netflix's The Hawk, I feel like they covered the budget and more even before they started filming.

Just off the top of my head, products featured were PGA, Calloway, Nike, PXG, Golf Digest, Titleist, Walmart, Milky way, Baby Ruth, Coors, KFC, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chili's, Triscuits, NBC, Mikes Hard Lemonade, Rolex, and many others I may have missed. I don't know if I've ever seen so many ads in one series. It was like a 10 episode informercial staring Will Ferrell. I mean this wasn't your ordinary product placement where they were put stuff in the background. No, they stabbed you in the face with ads, I mean they were literally singing the "Chili's baby back ribs" song near the climax. Which like, first of all, wow I've never heard that joke before /s and second of all, it was so unfunny, it literally took me out of the moment. Dial it back Netflix. Sadly I don't think this is the last time we'll see corporations invading our shows as heavily as this.

Where in the heck can I get good pizza in this city? I'm all out of options.

Back in the 90s, Pizza Hut was my go to pizza restaurant. They were great. Nothing could beat them. Then the 2011 financial collapse happened and they pizza went down in quality. Then covid happened, and it turned into complete crap. So I switched to dominoes, then inflation happened and that turned into crap, the last one was standing was papa johns, well recently I tried their pizzas and they changed the recipe, and they had fallen too. I tried peter piper thinking back to the old days as a kid, hoping they would be the same. I was wrong. They are crap too. So where do you go to get good pizza in this town? I live on the eastside so it would be great if there was a place there.
