For me I roll a cardboard filter fingertip length, condensed so it expands just to fill but not too big. I hold it down compressed in the paper, line the dry side to the bottom of the glue line, fill it, fold it over, lick it, let the filter expand. Cannon. Can't roll pinners they're always whales
