CMV: Outsourcing jobs outside western hemisphere is not morally wrong and americans should accept the status quo.
It is a pretty popular opinion that multinational companies are suddenly evil for replacing the cushy americans jobs for cheap indian workers. I have disagreements with that.
In most cases, the "cheap labour" is usually the hardest working top 1% of the country. It is a massive achievement in where I live to land FAANG placement, which only open their applicants to the most elite universities, say ivy equivalent. They are incredibly hard working people and certainly deserving of being paid well.
Globalisation. Many asian markets were forced and pressurised to open to the western companies. This has always been a worry to the national leaders. Well established MNCs building monopolies and shutting down local businesses. They rake billions of profits from it, USA stays prosperous in modern times from this capitalism. I would go on a stretch and say that many americans and europeans can owe their relatively luxurious lives because of it. And now that the local asian, hardworking talent are being recruited my these coorporations instead of americans. It is suddenly the worst thing in the world. Sure, the job market there is getting tougher, have you seen the situation here? It sucks that people are getting their jobs taken by such numbers. But I've always been annoyed when americans talk about "protecting" local markets by putting restrictions or something. Not in the spirit of globalisation is it?
