How do I recieve audio from a PC and Nintendo Switch simultaneously?

I have been trying to set up my audio to be able to speak and hear on my PC, while also being able to hear my Nintendo Switch on the same pair of wired headphones. When I connect all the cables to my capture card (just one of the generic box ones you can buy off Amazon for about $20), my mic input goes to my pc, but the only audio coming in is from the switch. I have tried updating drivers, disconnecting and reconnecting, as well as a variety of other things. My current best guess is that something is not registering, as when connecting the capture card, the only new audio-related input is for my microphone.

I am using 2 HDMI cords (one into the capture card from the switch, and one out from the switch to a monitor), a USB 3.0 cable to connect from the capture card to my PC, a pair of Hyper X Cloud 3 with an audio splitter to fill both the mic and headphone port on the capture card, and a nintendo switch one with the original dock and power cable. I am running on a Windows 11 PC and using OBS as my primary software for this.

If you guys have any ideas, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.
