Visited Northern Star records on Rose Lane today
I’d read about them on the echo and was pretty excited at a new record shop local to me. It’s great! Rob is a lovely fella and a joy to chat to, and there’s some really nice stuff in there! I walked out with Syd Barrett’s second album, Abraxas by Santana, and a weird Star Wars album performed by some mad lad on a synthesiser. All under 20 quid.
If you’re nearby and this is your thing, pop in and have a look. It’s such a great addition to Mossley Hill. I’ve been saying we need more independent record shops for ages and this is boss!

A decision was made, hopefully a wise one.
Found I got sunburn on the back of my head and boom, bald patch. Without overthinking it too much I shaved it off and I’m glad I did!
EDIT: you are all, without exception, so incredibly lovely and have made me very happy today. I shall take the fade advice as well and invest in a decent trimmer. I hope you’re all having a wonderful day.

Great fun, absolutely mental and SO LOUD. If the guy who shouted “DO WONDERWALL!” When the band were walking onstage is reading this, you made me laugh.
Anyway it’s nice to see that Liverpool is still getting some good weird gigs!
