30 minutes from the venue, I finished stitching up the back! 🥰🪡

Featuring DMC floss with acrylic paint on cotton - I used two strands of 445 for backstitching around the lake, two strands of 520 for the whipstitched initials, and one strand of 520 for the whipstitched date and french knots. I drew the pattern for Lake Superior myself, too!

The recipients were very happy 🥰💖

Capybaras are slowly taking over my life in the best way possible 🎶

I love to bring my embroidery with me everywhere, so I wanted a capybara themed carrying case with solid sides so I wouldn't worry about my project getting distorted. Whipped back stitch with mystery thread on cotton again 😊✨

The carrier keeps it's shape with cardboard I recycled and inserted into the sides, and it has a d-ring & lobster clasp so I can hang it from almost all of my bags if I can't fit it inside of one.

Kind of obsessed with our furry friends, so I made a bunch of emotes of the lil guys. Warning for weapon & blood clipart at the end, but they're animated and very clearly fake. Hope these make you smile as much as they do for me!
