Super Worth It? If so, when?

Just got done with the 3 day free preview of Super. I didn't feel I got the best use of it being very new (Section 1 Unit 5, though I've put these lessons on hold to focus on Kana, which so far I've got the basics hiragana, and just got first lesson on letters like がびごげぐ)
But.. I did find the unlimited energy really nice, not having to watch ads constantly to continue. But I'm also thinking the energy system is actually a kinda good way to pace myself? So maybe I'd even be worse off with Super.
I did give the video call stuff a go, and panicked very quickly during them lol, but that gave the disappointing realization that it doesn't really punish you fucking up or recognise catastrophic failures where I gave up and started spouting gibberish.(Cause I had no idea what they said, all completely new words)
Anyway, question is, do you folks find Super to be a must have, what are some tips for usage, do you consider it to be worth it and at what stage would you recommend getting it? Perhaps I should hold off til I've learnt all hiragana and katakana?
