Help me with the Takanaka Sound
Hello mid musician here! i've been doing a lot of research and trying to compromise on getting gear that i like and stuff that takanaka uses is very obviously expensive. Currently I'm saving up to buy my own messa boogie Mk V Head. I was going for the VII but it kinda sounded too harsh/Metal IMO. though any advice on this would still be awesome!
But currently im struggling to decide on a new guitar and what's been rolling in my head is the Yamaha SG1000 or SG2000 i cant find many videos that go in depth for the tone aside from comparisons to les pauls so im struggling to see what sounds i like better. I've also found a Yamaha SG1500 but I'm still thinking about that one. I know these guitars are expensive but i dont mind saving up for one after I get the amp. Any information or advice that I might not have seen?
