This is wayyyyyyy more harder than I thought it would be. Not that I thought it was easy but that I thought it’d be a bit more straightforward. I could have just used the guitar body but I wanted to keep it in one piece just cause it seemed wrong to cut up a guitar I just bought.

I’m considering painting the whole thing banana yellow.

This won’t be a one for one replica of Takanaka’s surfboard guitar but the way I’m making it is in the same essence of his. I won’t paint the guitar neck myself but maybe when I have money I’ll get the whole thing repainted professionally.

Thought it would be fun to make a Takanaka chart! Starting off, what is his most iconic song?

They both Tell the kinda the same Story with the albums Desaturating Seven and Rainbow Goblins. I took my time to make a list of which Songs are parallel to each other. i didn't use AI, it was all done by myself (took some time).

I find that a lot of discussion in this subreddit tend to sway towards idolatry and any subversion seems to be met with a barrage of downvotes.

I’m not saying I agree or disagree with the sentiment, but what hot take do you have about Takanaka’s work or catalogue or even fans for that matter?

My collection no longer fits only on my wall, it’s so hard to choose which 16 to display!

So my style is Masayoshi Takanaka, Casiopea I’m looking for a pedal that gets me that insane tone, “disclaimer: this is my first pedal” So if someone can help me out, someone that already used a pedal and would recommend, please put me on. Thanks!

Got a real gem here, couldn’t get the white goblin on vinyl so found the next best thing. AN OFFICIAL SCORESHEET of the whole damn album.
