Is it explained how the Ode wiped the memories of the people of Midrath?

I'm making a Dnd campaign where the party has to basically fight against the an Ode-adjacent threat, but I remember hearing the Ode wiping out all memories of the past, and can't remember where I heard that. Is it ever explained how they did that so quickly?

5-card Mono-color Compleated Planeswalker Cycle

These were cards I made based off of various Phyrexian Planeswalker arts I found. Let me know what you guys think.

Not my first post here regarding my class (https://www.reddit.com/r/DnDHomebrew/s/eNAnfdIgNp), but I am in need of the Reddit Hive’s assistance again.

One of the subclasses for my Necromancer class deals with Shadow Magic, and I want to make the class a sort of buff class through manifested, tangible illusions. The class has a built-in method of making permanent servants balanced through CR (cap is 10 at 20th level, and starts at 1 at 2nd, then 2 at 3rd, and increases every odd-numbered level), and I want to use that mechanic to make permanent buffs.

These problem is I’m sort of tapped dry of ideas for that, and I want the class to be versatile with the buffs. I ideally want about 50 options to mimic Wild Magic Sorcerer’s Wild Magic Surge table, but I’d be willing to trim it down slightly if that’s too broken. The subclass would ideally grant access to the illusions at 6th level, and I want the players to have semi-control over which effect that have.

If y’all have ideas for effects or ways to smooth over integration, I’m all ears.

In a couple weeks I’ll be starting to work 70 hour weeks Lifeguarding. I will lifeguard from 4:30-13:00, take a 2 hour break to eat and nap, then work a 15:00-20:00 shift later in the day, and will do that Monday-Friday.

I’m wondering if that’s too much? I’m in the U.S. in Pennsylvania, where minimum wage here is still 7.25$ an hour, and while I’m not paid that little I still am not paid that well, thus the work week.

Both my bosses are encouraging this work schedule (I lifeguard two different pools) since I fill in their hardest-to-schedule shifts, but my normally-workaholic parents are saying it’s too much, so I figured I’d ask here.

Edit: For those interested, the 4:30-13:00 shift is at my YMCA, and the 15:00-20:00 shift is at a local country club.

Edit 2: Sorry if my comments seem like I’m treating my predicament like a joke. In truth I’m working 70 hours so I can pay off debts. Student Loan debts combined with Rent and meals are leaving me with little choice but to work these hours. I’ve been lifeguarding for 8 years by this point and have had to pull out a lot of stops in order to function. I have ADHD meds, Caffeine, and various other things I do to keep myself awake and alert. I’m sorry if you feel like I am endangering my patrons, because I very much try not to. I have never had a life lost or child drowned, and have saved a few folks while I have guarded. I take my job seriously. My employers know this, and thus why they are encouraging me to take this schedule: because I do my job well, and they need the hours filled.
