Hi everyone! Looking to get some feedback on this customized ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 for my brother who will be taking Information Systems (IS).

Did some customization via Lenovo's PH website and it costd ₱103,698.11 (1.7k USD). Here are the main customized specs we went with:

CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 255H
RAM: 16 GB DDR5 (2 x 8 GB dual-channel)
Storage: 1 TB SSD M.2 PCIe Gen4
Display: 14" 2.8K (2880 x 1800), IPS, 400 nits, 120Hz, 100% sRGB
Graphics: Integrated Intel Arc Graphics
Battery: Upgraded 4 Cell 64Wh
Wireless: Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 + Bluetooth 5.3

Some questions:

1. Is this spec list solid and future-proof for an IS curriculum?
2. For the price, is this a good buy or should we look at the T-series/other alternatives like Legion (tho seems to be more expensive)?

~also thinking if i should just downgrade the storage to 512GB instead
