Just added the SPL Phonitor XE to my D70 Pro Octo and Sennheiser HD650, the Phonitor is a microscope and will give you every penny of what your DAC is serving up, for better or worse.. It has a great voicing for those that like detail, particularly the spacial info that many warmer amps hide..
