I have the a set of G3 pants that I've had for about 8 years, I've used for field training and Airsoft, and they've held up awesome.
However, I hate the G3 Kneepads. I'm on my 3rd set and even those are starting to deform and pop out.
Anyone have alternatives? Are the G4 Kneepads any better? Are there any 3rd party alternatives?

Recently found I'm on the bleeding edge of prediabetes (HEMOGLOBIN A1c is 5.5).
I already live an active lifestyle (Run 2-4 miles a week, kickboxing workouts 2-3 times a week, strength training 2-3 times a week, active recovery days, etc).
I'm sure it's my sweet tooth that's causing this. I'm ADDICTED to Gharadelli Dark Chocolate Sea Salt with Caramel squares; I eat anywhere from 3-5 a day.
Anyone found a good alternative? I have quit all vices (Nicotine, Alcohol, Caffeine under 50mg a day) and the thought of giving up sweets is bumming me out :(
