S25 DeX Problem With My Hub
Hey guys,
I am an indian. So i ordered a striff 3 in 1 usb hub, along with a standard hdmi to hdmi cable.
I wanted to make wired samsung DeX work for my old sony bravia klv 43w772e, which uses standard hdmi input and a 1080p display.
I got em. And i just connected the hub properly and did everything right.
It didnt work.
I got sad, then i connected the same connection with s20 fe 5g. It worked under a second. Because s20 has a setting in dex named "auto start when connected with hdmi". Its working effortlessly on s20 fe 5g.
Then i asked for help on reddit, and multiple a.i.
No one aint helping. I tried all random developer option settings and usb options and connecting charger to hub. Nothing works.
I dont want to purchase anything else specifically for this setup because ive already given enough and if it works then ill use that saved money to buy a keyboard and a mouse.
People are saying buy a normal standard usb c to hdmi cable.
But i dont wanna do that cuz i dont have that much amount of money. Please help anyone and make this setup work. It would be an honor if u make it work right.
My device:s25 base running on one ui 8.5
