The bathtub drain is stuck, the stopper has a rubber seal and its wedged in good. The overflow plate is from the 80s I'm worried if I remove it I could make things worse. Will be checking for any messages. Thanks.

80s bathtub. The stopper for the drain has a rubber part and that b*tch is CLOSED in there. The drainstop is a flat plate which I removed and has 2 screws. Any advice? Thank you.
