hiya, kiddo is wanting to get into the tcg, but i’m not sure on what deck i should recommend? ideally something simple for him, but (as most little kids go) would probably also want something with ‘cool’ cards w/ high attack. big fan of lucario & the like, but i know that’s… not always how deck building goes. any ideas for an accessible/adaptable deck would be lovely <3

very simple question, when browsing for fics, what’s your go-to sorting method on ao3? (the whole ‘sort-by’ section in filtering)

i normally just leave it as date updated, but im curious because i know a lot of people use other filters instead

Been to several cons & cosplay events before, both in and out of cosplay, so this is far from my first rodeo. However, I normally tend towards characters that are niche enough maybe one person total will recognise it (out of a couple thousand), so I’ve never had to worry with people asking for photos.

My next con I’m going as somebody much more recognisable, and I‘m wondering, would it be seen as impolite to decline photos?

I just loathe the idea of my (heavy made-up) face or (heavily masked) body on somebody’s phone, as irrational as that is. I just fear that people will take it as dickish if I just say ‘no’ whenever somebody asks for a photo, given I don’t really have a good reason.

Any advice on how best to communicate that to people, or how to get over the problem, would be appreciated. Cheers <3
