FlyLite Blocker

I got the thinned out version and didn’t think much of it, but now that I’m starting to face way better shooters I feel it lacks control completely, and anything that goes of the top or outer right just makes it flap over if I look at it in slo mo.
Do I really have to go out and buy the thick version mehhhh

FRS strapping

Hey if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. So my story is I’m coming from ccm eflex 6s that I used for 3 years and absolutely loved. I recently just got a pair of true hzrdus pads and I’m really confused.

  1. Is there any way I could wear them tight around right below the knee like the eflex strapping is, without causing rotation issues? I really don’t like the feel of tight around the calf, it just feels so loose and disconnected, it also is restricting my ability to bend my knees and flex my ankles for some reason, so I’m never in a shot ready stance.

  2. These pads always always rotate outwards, no matter what I try. Sorry for no pics, but in my stance, picture the inner bottom corner of the pad sitting on top of my skate, that’s what always happens, and it feels like my pad is just out of place, and on top of that, on a couple plays I had over rotation issues. I experimented with shortening the toe ties(skate lace) but still to no avail( I usually use 4 inches of slack, I cut it in half). Any suggestions on how to strap these or what to do?

  3. I’m guessing this is probably just something that takes time to get used to, but I feel so unstable in these in the butterfly, it feels like I’m always leaning back, and for some reason my skating got worse when I started wearing these lol, no idea how that makes sense, but yeah.

Thanks in advance 🙏

Tracking issue

Hey guys, I have this issue that I some games track the puck all the way in and feel in complete control,.. and then some games no matter how hard I try I don’t track it all the way in and it leads to easy goals, I really don’t know what’s affecting it since its completely on and off. Does anyone have any tips on always being consistent on tracking down and following the puck all the way in.
It’s not anything to do with my chest or neck protector too because I have a lot of head mobility. Is it just leaning forward more?
Thanks guys

7x hzrdus L95 pad rotation and strapping??

Hey guys, I just played my first game in the true 7x L95s and I’m really confused. The right leg pad always rotates outward and I always have to push it back into position, it’s insanely frustrating. For reference, I wear 3 inches of toe tie slack. I’m coming from an eflex 6 pad which I absolutely loved and adored and loved the way I always felt connected to the pad, is there any way to replicate that feeling on these 7x L95 pads without causing rotation issues?? I tried strapping them in all different ways and all the time my right pad would get kind of lodged facing semi outwards. Does anyone who has these, mind giving me advice I really want to use them and they look beautiful, but I just don’t feel connected at all to the pad which makes me feel all sloppy.
Any help would be amazingly appreciated.
Thanks so much
