I'm currently on a quest to get one of every Uniqlo U men's item from the original "Uniqlo and Lemaire" and the Uniqlo "12U's" releases in order to really determine whether or not there is actually a notable decrease in quality over the years. (Don't worry, there's only like 30ish items total)

So far, most the stuff I've gotten from these collections are incredible. That said, their long coats with the 2015-2018 blocktech liners I'm not really a fan of. The drape of the fabric looks so good on me, but man, it just feels like I'm wearing a tarp, not a Lemaire piece.

However, I recently bought a blocktech coat released in the past year and realized Uniqlo had completely changed the material from the OG U blocktech coats that I just purchased, and it is way more comfortable now; the fabric feels nicer in general. That had me wondering, what Uniqlo U coats over the years had both the best drape as well as the best feeling material? I'm thinking this is the one area where the "uniqlo and lemaire" and the "Uniqlo 12U's" lines are beat by newer iterations.

I'd love recs of your favorite coats from the line so I can add to my "check it out" list!

My package came with a ground advantage label on a priority mail express mailer and a postage owed sticker. I went to the usps and they said that was a big mistake and they would owe a lot. I opened up a dispute with the seller on depop, but am I covered here? Is this a known scam? What do I even do here?

The usps employee said it would be upwards of $35 owed for priority mail express.

I'm obv not paying that.

UPDATE: thanks for all the comments! I'm going back to the post office monday and telling them to just bill the sender. I was worried I would be legally responsible, but after some research, it looks like I'm in the clear. I gotta wonder if the seller mailed out all their orders in these express mailers.

I discovered the U line wayyy too late into my time with Uniqlo. I own so many uniqlo pieces, including a lot of U and C and JWA pieces from the past few years, but I have such bad FOMO over the 2018-2021 U line that I missed. Apparently they are highly regarded as being the time before the materials started getting a bit lower quality. I also found the lookbooks from that era, and they are absolutely my ideal style.

The issue I discovered in searching for them online, is that most people just don't label their stuff as Uniqlo U, they mostly just list it as Uniqlo, which means I have to go over every item's photos to find the tag with the 9 U's.

So far I've gotten 6 of the items to try, but man...is it tiring to have to sort through 30k listings in this way.

Does anyone have any tricks to find these? Searching by uniqlo u removes a ton of actual u items from the results due to so many people not including the U.
