Is the panting ok?

So, my 2 tiels have been ‘panting’ like dogs, like in the video. It’s usually when they’re still like this, so it’s not after exercise or anything. It’s usually just for 1-2 seconds, and they’ve been doing this for about 3-4 weeks. There are no other signs of breathing problems. Is it ok and innocent or is it something worse that is starting?

Traumatized tiel first time on my arm

One of my tiels is with me for almost 3 months and he was completely abused by the old owner. His wing was severely hurt, he couldn’t be around people without being completely stressed and ‘crying’… but today he let me touch him and climbed. Just for a little bit, but he did. And he even did a sweet pose!

To think that 2 months ago he was on the verge of dying in the store…

… and now he is just jumping and singing… the best decision of my life. No matter how bad the day is, coming home makes it all worth it. I just love them so much

Guess I won’t move anymore

Better call my boss and tell him I quit because I can’t move, my baby is on my hand and I don’t want to disturb

My baby boy started having spots

So, my baby boy who is about 1 yo and is molting and I noticed his beak is darker and is starting to have grey spots on his head. The 1st photo is before and the 2nd was yesterday. Is this normal and related to the molting?
Thank you!

After a month on antibiotics and a week in the hospital, she made me feel like a pirate today, for the 1st time 🥹

She is recovering like a champ and landed on my shoulder for the 1st time

I just love them so much 🥺

It’s so hard to describe this type of love to people who don’t get it, so glad that there are a lot of bird parents out there who get it 🧡🤍
