Please tell me it gets better

Two weeks ago, I slept in my car for the first time. I used an inflated airbed and window curtains but couldn’t sleep, so I ended up at a friend’s place. I tried again by replacing the air mattress with a mattress top, removing the back seats, and adding plywood. It was comfortable, but I still couldn’t fall asleep until 6:30 am, sleeping until 9 am. Normally, I fall asleep between 11 pm and midnight in a normal bedroom setting, Is this normal, and will I eventually find it easier to sleep in the car?

Edit: thank you all for the encouragement and the hope cause I was ready to rent a room with money I know I don’t have but this brings me hope I just have to stick to it till I can easily sleep
