I can't remember who ran that, but just having a nostalgic moment thinking about starting the bar hopping with some delicious street sliders followed by a 3am KKD order. Ah, old Burlington.

Taking a look at the 2027 fiscal budget (https://www.burlingtonvt.gov/1225/Fiscal-Year-2027-Budget) and noticed that Burlington spends almost the same amount on Fire services as they do Police. With today's currently climate, I expected to see much more of the budget going toward Police services.

POLICE EXPENSE GRAND TOTALS $21,379,391.00
FIRE EXPENSE GRAND TOTALS $20,718,651.00

Also for good measure, the Racial Equity Inclusion and Belonging department is has a net negative of $829,373.00

I'm starting to see "private" Flock camera pop up around Lexington. Does anyone have any insight as to whether or not the town has a plan to implement these universally for the police departments?

I don't care what your politics are, I know the majority on here are on the left. For ANYONE on the right, we have two shit sandwiches to choose from. Please ask yourself if we need another 20 years of a Graham in office. It's time for change, not Annie Andrews change, but my goodness we cannot vote this woman in. Not because she's a woman, but because she's another Graham.

Change can be good, lets just think about this for a second.

Holy smokes maybe I've just been out of school for too long but we just received this years school schedule for the kids. Is a 10am lunch time normal? Do all schools eat this early or is it strictly Lex 1? 10am?

The South Carolina State Election Commission (SEC) has completed its review of South Carolina election law regarding voter eligibility for the August 11 Special Republican Primary.

Based on that review, voters who participated in the June Democratic Primary are not eligible to vote in the August 11 Special Republican Primary. Voters who participated in the June Republican Primary, or who did not vote in either party's June primary, are eligible to vote in the August 11 Special Republican Primary.

The Commission's determination is based on the requirements of South Carolina election law governing voter participation in political party primaries.
