Kinda weird how they arguably had their most popular and viral act of all time compete on the show and win this year... only to end up having talks about massive budget cuts. You would've thought that'd save the show and give them more money. If they held an Nene Royal tour with agt acts they would make a lot of money right now. Thailand is doing more for her right now than the actual show she was on.
So instead of Judge Cuts it's Budget Cuts.
They could just hold auditions for new judges and hosts. They don't need a giant paycheck. They probably make more a season than the lump sum the winner makes and all they do is just talk "omg that was sooooo amaaaazing." Easiest job ever.
Ksi as a guest probably made a similar amount of money the winner wins if they did lump sum after taxes
Instead of Terry, they could make it Preacher Lawson. Did they blow all their money on Ksi as judge or Linkin Park that they even had to consider moving production to another state to save money?
It says:
Estimated salaries:
- Simon: 45+ Million a season
- Sofia: 10 million a season, $400k an episode
- Heidi: $100k / episode
- Howie: $1.5-1.7 million a season, 70k an episode
- Terry: 1.5-2 million a season
- mel b: 100-240k an episode, or $2.8million a season
Guest judges make est. 50-150k per episode
Next season I won't be surprised if they are sponsored by Prime (Energy Drink).
The crowd was amazingly loud. The loudest it has ever been in the theater for any agt act ever... even BTS!!! YES BTS!!! Even Le Sseraffim!!! I have been going to the live shows every year since darci lynne competed. About a decade.
I have been to so many kpop concerts as well. Very comparable with crowd craziness.
I will say this...
The honest truth.
Whatever she will play from now on is going to heal the world like Michael Jackson wanted. Heal the world and make it a better place for you and for me.
This genre is not popular as it was before. But after this, if she gets the right arrangements and can get it recorded to play on more television shows internationally and on Hollywood films — I could proudly say this is a monster in the making. A good one. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a Grammy for her first album and inspire many more young artists to follow. Reviving a dying genre! Hopefully puts this back in the mainstream media
She just needs the right writers to help her and it won't even matter if it's a full original album or all covers or mix.
Whoever did the past two arrangements... she gotta work with that person for her album!!
I can tell you the agt crew put extra care on her especially in the costuming and special effects department. That stage was wicked awesome. I don't know if it was captured on video but the background closed in on her when it finished... like a tunnel or something. That was very fitting.
She really let loose and was having fun with the camera angles. It really fells like her choreography and acting skills here were worked on with by a pro in the agt team... I was so surprised how amazing and how much more improved she became since last time. Watching her street performances I didn't see that at all! This... feels like she's in a high budget musical as lead!!!!
If guitar hero ever comes back officially (there is a game like it from the creators)— they need to have her on the cover, pronto. Maybe Disney will make a thai princess movie. Who knows
This prodigy is going to win and you all better vote. If she doesn't win it's your fault for not voting! 🥺😂
