Hi all, I’m a 27-year-old male who has changed my degree four times. I served 7 years in the U.S Army as a mechanic, the GI Bill has given me the privilege of being able to change my degree from “Kiniesiology ➡️Biblical Studies➡️Psychology➡️Sociiology➡️ to now a Dental Hygienist.

My wife and I realized that careers don't have to be something you're passionate about; sometimes, it can just be a job that you can see yourself doing competently while saving your passions for outside of work.

My question is, is there anyone out there who isn't passionate about dental but has found fulfillment in the field?

Hello friends, I’m going to keep it brief; tomorrow is my first day at Sam’s Club as a Tire/Battery advisor. What is it like working in that role, any tips for orientation? What is your experience working with someone in the role, what makes or breaks a person at Sam’s Club. Thanks in advanced 🫶

Someone dumped 8 Blue Healer puppies on my lawn last night, I hope this person stubs their toe every day at the most inconvenient of times for the rest of their life.
We called 311 and they said they were at negative 70% capacity and because the dogs were friendly, and not injured they could not pick them up. The police came and wasn’t able to do anything because animal control refuses to get them. It’s so cruel to do this knowing we live in Texas heat, not knowing when they’re gonna eat or drink again. Another piss off, is the owner dropped off a single bowl of food in our driveway. We rent so we’re unable to give them a home without breaking our lease :(

UPDATE: These are small adult dogs that have been dumped. They are skittish. ❤️‍🩹 We are looking for 8 fosters or anyone willing to take two.

They will need to be taken to AAS during 11am-4pm to get intake appointment then they will likely need fosters for 2-4 weeks until intake.
