How does your club schedule dispensing ?
We have 22 spots today for an hour all spots were full . I had back tk back carts of nothing but drinks and waters. There was someone prepping orders but they only have one person taking all orders out. After loading for truck beds full of drinks back to back I walked in to 12 carts lined up and asked of someone could hell me catch up . It's texas and 100 degrees . I felt nauseas and was ignored.
Is this the norm for all clubs . Last week we had a girl faint and be taken away in an ambulance because she was also only dispenser .
Our club has an issue with solicitors, mostly one that keeps coming back. This woman will roam the parking lot with a shopping cart attempting to sell candy to people as they're loading their vehicles. This one has been an issue since late March/ early April. This has gotten to the point where member's are feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. I've approached management on the issue multiple times. The most they do is send a lead out to watch her leave the parking lot. Half of those times she comes back. I've tried ethics... but that just goes back to management.. so that didn't work. Do I have other options? Am I wasting my time trying to resolve this?
Can this company staff stores better? Honestly customers generally have more to do in a day than wait in the lines in y’all’s stores. I’m sorry if I sound like a Karen but dang it’s so inefficient. The products are good but everything else is inefficient.
Hello, I’m a members specialist and recently my manager said we have to hand out carts carts to members and put stickers on returns while at the front door greeting people. Is this something other stores implemented too or just us and how do you feel about it?
I have a 2nd interview Monday and was wondering if I'm going to get drug tested due to the floor machine. I've read that they don't but also saw that some certain positions do and saw nothing about maintenance associates. .I live in Florida if that matters.
I am new to Sam's Club.
-
Tried https://www.samsclub.com/content/instant-savings-book , but web page fails to load.
Does PDF file exist? If so, Where?
Can I sign up to have the Instant Savings Booklet email to me?
-
Tried Sam's Club App, but cannot find a booklet.
I tried searching for "Instant Savings", and filter by "Departments > Instant Savings",
but it includes item without Savings.
I don't want endless scrolling through 500+ items every time.
I want a page number I can reference and jump to.
-
How to make the App only shows "Instant Savings" item?
-
Where can I find the start and end dates for "current Saving" period?
-
Did Sam's Club stop having a Booklet?
Which is better. From my research here, they both seem not the best, but which one sucks least, haha? Please no horror stories or negative remarks, I am trying to be as open minded and positive as possible. Just trying to decide between the two as I’ve been offered either or.
Produce seems to be floral, freezers/fridge, ice/ice cream, walk in coolers, fruits and veggies. Plus I’m sure more.
No idea what prep food lead includes.
How seriously does your club take member satisfaction? A member could threaten to lock all the employees in the club and burn it down with them in it and my club manager would smile, give them a $500 gift card and then tell them we hope to see them again soon.
I have the opportunity to get a Sam's Club membership through my employer at a discounted rate. I would love to know what those who eat low carb buy?
I had previously had a big list for a "competitor" wink wink. I am a Type 2 diabetic on a GLP-1. So I prioritize lean proteins, protein shakes/drinks, veggies, frozen fruits. I am a nurse and work 4 long shifts a week with weeks that I work overtime. Would love some prepared options. Or things that are somewhat healthy that are grab and go. Busy weeks are minimal prep.
I've heard word about them being cycled out. Please tell me someone else has heard something similar. These sensors are killing my team's legs
Recently, my husband bought a pack of pastries from Sam's Club, and we found pieces of a plastic bag inside two out of the eight pastries that my son and I ate. Since there are 4 left and we are worried it might happen again, we are too anxious to eat them and want to know what we should do. Has anyone had the same experience? What should I do?
Hey everyone! I’m an external hire and just accepted a position as a Produce Team Lead at Sam’s Club.
I do have previous management experience from Walmart, HR experience, and some food/service experience from Starbucks, but Sam’s Club itself is completely new to me.
I’m genuinely excited for the opportunity, and I’d really appreciate positive tips, tricks, or advice from anyone who’s been with Sam’s for a while.
I know it’s easy to joke about the negatives or vent about work, but I was laid off in April and I really need this job, so I’m trying to go into it with a good attitude and set myself up for success.
If you’re currently a Produce Lead, or have been one before, I’d especially love an average day-in-the-life rundown. What does a normal shift usually look like? What should I learn first? What separates a good Produce Lead from a great one?
Any advice for a new external Team Lead would be appreciated!
People, anybody having a bad tummy after eating these blueberries?
So I can sign up for insurance by the 25th but when I was hired I said I was single. But I need to add my wife to my insurance but keep getting this message when changing status : To update your marital status you must complete a newly eligible enrollment, Annual Enrollment, or election change event session.
How do I fix this in 5 days??
Because why ??? i even put in ppto i know ppl are going to say its automatically generated, knowing what i know about my teams i call BS
I use a 2020 Toyota Corolla hybrid. It’s my first car and I really don’t know much about cars. I need to change my tires. Any recommendations? I want one that can make good use of fuel efficiency, braking and Omaha winter.
Hi everyone, I applied for a Full-Time Personal Shopper position a while ago. I was waiting for a response, but since I haven't heard back yet, I am planning to call the club to follow up. Before I do, I want to get some realistic expectations from current or former Sam's Club employees regarding scheduling and availability.
What I put on my application:
- Days: Sunday through Thursday (Off Friday & Saturday)
- Time Block: Afternoon and Evening (Targeting the 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM block)
My actual flexibility (What I can offer on the call):
- Preferred: Sunday–Thursday (Off Friday/Saturday)
- Backup: Thursday–Monday (Off Tuesday/Wednesday)
I know Sam’s Club runs strict block schedules (4 AM–12:30 PM or 12 PM–8:30 PM). I have a few specific questions before I make my call:
- Q1: How likely am I to get hired with my preferred Sunday-Thursday Afternoon / Evening block?
- Q2: If the Sunday-Thursday option is a long shot, does my backup Thursday-Monday schedule make me significantly more hirable?
- Q3: Since I already submitted Schedule One Sunday-Thursday on the application, is it okay to offer the Thursday-Monday Schedule Two as a backup over the phone, or will that look weird to the manager?
- Q4: When I call the club, who exactly should I ask to speak with? (People Lead, or Digital Team Lead?)
- Q5: What else should I know to prepare for the call, and what usually happens during a follow up?
Appreciate any insight or tips you guys can give me!

I quit my Sam’s Club job today. My hours kept getting cut — first to **1 day a week, then to nothing for weeks with only a couple random days**, and eventually I was completely off the schedule.
I went in today to tell my manager I was quitting. They were in a meeting, so I waited almost 30 minutes. A team lead was sitting in the office. When my manager came out, I heard the team lead say, **“There he is.”**
My manager came over and said she needed to talk to an associate. I said, **“Wait, this isn’t going to take long,”** and then I explained that because of the lack of hours and everything, I decided to move on to different opportunities.
She said, **“I understand,”** and then **“I’m so sorry.”**
Do you think she was genuinely sorry about my hours being cut, or does this interaction make it seem like she wanted me out anyway? What do you think?
