Looking for advice on 11k cc debt
$11k in credit card debt and I need some advice before I make this worse
Alright, I’m finally admitting I’ve got a problem and could use some outside opinions.
I’m sitting at roughly $11,000 in credit card debt. The interest rate is absolutely brutal (around 34%), and my minimum payment is about $360/month. At this point it feels like I’m throwing money at the card and barely moving the needle.
My credit score is around 664.
I’ve been looking at a few different options:
- Debt consolidation loan
- Balance transfer card
- Nonprofit debt management program
- Taking a loan from my 401(k) and knocking a big chunk of the balance down
- Or just continuing to make payments and throwing every extra dollar I can at it
I know the obvious answer is “don’t rack up $11k in credit card debt,” and yeah... I figured that one out a little late. 😂 I’m not looking for anyone to tell me I screwed up. I already know.
What I’m trying to figure out is what would be the smartest way to get out of this without digging myself into an even bigger hole?
If you’ve been in a similar situation, what did you do that actually worked? And are there any options here that I should stay the hell away from?
I’d appreciate any advice, especially from people who have actually dealt with this kind of debt.

reddit.comIs a manager or team lead supposed to sit down with you for the Performance Review
Anytime I asked the manager, that's over me. He said he is busy and the team lead is basically the same way
Missed a call from biolife
When i call back, just get the call center, and they can't tell me anything. The app doesn't say I'm deferred and can still make appointments anyone else ever deal with this
