Can I still donate plasma?
I donated for first time and had a severe vasovagal reaction with blood pressure dropping to 70 and vomiting. They later called me and said I'm no longer eligible to donate. But is this a permanent deferral? The MSS made it a point to tell me to eat closer to the time of donation as if I could still donate. I would still like to try again, even though it was kind of embarrassing, and now it's kind of a blur so if I am able to go back I don't know what to do. Do I just sign in on one of the terminals, and if so then what? Or do I just talk to someone at the front? I'm thinking too far ahead though because I still don't know if I'm permanently deferred.
Donating with CSL for the first time!
Does anybody know if they have a referral code to get the bonus on top of what the base pay is? Asking because I plan on going on Tuesday :)

Withdrawing donation pay from plasma prepaid cards is as painful as the rebate process
You know those stupid rebate scams electronic stores used to run? They’d promise you $50 back, make you pay full price upfront, then bury you in a rebate form with a million rules, fine print, and gotchas and like a 3 month delay designed so they could keep the money?
Getting “paid” by plasma companies feels exactly like that
You donate your plasma, you do everything right, and then they hit you with hidden fees at every single turn through the prepaid card issuers they force on you. It’s painfully obvious these companies are counting on donors NOT reading every word of the fine print so they can skim off the top. I can’t even keep track anymore of all the different ways they’ve found to slap me with some random fee out of nowhere.
They literally charge me a fee when the card gets declined even when I HAVE THE FUNDS. The card just randomly gets denied at stores or online for no reason, and I still get charged. I’m paying around $4–6 (now it was more in the past) every single month just to access my own damn money. This is wildly, disgustingly exploitative. Why are they so completely indifferent to donors getting ripped off right in front of their faces?
I tried reporting this shit to rip-off reporting sites, government agencies, the supposed “protectors” who’re supposed to watch out for exactly this kind of exploitation. I was basically told to fuck off by government regulators through their automated email system when your claim is ignored. Of course. Par for the course in this completely broken country.
BTW: I am in Portland Oregon area and use CSL Plasma and get paid with Paysign Inc. prepaid visa cards. If Satan made a prepaid card issuer company, it would be Paysign Inc.
Check the Trustpilot reviews for Paysign there are pages of them. They’re sitting at a 1.3/10 with 50+ bad reviews from people screaming about the exact same shit I’m dealing with. I get it, companies gotta make money, this is a corporation answering to shareholders and all that corporate bullshit. But there’s a damn line between making a profit and running an straight-up scam and they’ve crossed it. The worst part? There’s nobody to answer to for it. Donors are completely screwed.
Im supposed to donate tomorrow but i caught a flo is that a problem

Interested in donating with my mom
I've been wanting to donate for awhile as I learned about how vital plasma is from a VTuber called Ironmouse (iykyk). Hearing about her struggles really made me want to help people. But I have some concerns.
Mainly about if my mom can donate. She is diabetic (type 2) but controls it through diet. She was told as a teenager to never donate blood again (she fainted...that was before she was diabetic...and in the 1970s lol), and she's 66 this year. Is there an age limit for donating?
We live in WA state and have Biolife, Bloodworks Northwest, CSL and Octapharma near us. For those who have used any of these places...do you prefer one over the other? Or are they kind of all the same? I know the payout can vary by location, when you donate and if they are running specials. But I'm just wondering how you guys feel about the companies. Is Biolife a good company in that they treat you well, pay you well (no hidden fees) and you want to keep going to them over CSL? Or is CSL better.
Also is it true you have to wait seven days since your last donation to switch companies?
Tattoo
I want a new tattoo so badly but I don’t wanna miss four months.
Any thoughts?
Whats it like donating plasma?
Ive been donating blood for a few years now and ive only ever done whole and double red but ive been wanting to expand my pallet ig lol. I just donated double again a couple weeks ago and have been wanting my next donation to be plasma but i honestly dont really know the difference. Genuinely id donate whatever as long as it helps someone out and im o+ so thats like most of the population lmao. Is the donating process itself any different? How long does it take? What sort of things does it help with? Whats the recovery process like?
What would you do if you knew for a fact a plasma donor was engaging in risky behavior such as using IV drugs?
reddit.comWill I be degrees at another center for tachycardia?
I was donating at BioLife to have some money coming in when I was between jobs, but I stopped going after being deffered multiple times for a heart rate of 102.
I’ve been cleared by cardiology in the past for the tachycardia as it’s not anything they are concerned about.
I would like to continue to donate but will griffols also defer me?
