Scabbed over cold sore, can I still donate tomorrow?

New-ish doner here! Google is.. completely unhelpful for this one, so here I am 😅

Last Friday, I started to develop a cold sore on my upper lip, I didn't use abreva or any other thing for cold sores, I just left it alone and tried to keep it dry. A few days ago the scab fell off, and its now scabbed over again (first one was yellowish, now its just dark red, like a scab from a cut would be). What I could find said that, as long as it isn't bleeding or oozing puss its fine, but that was just an AI overview, and those are often wrong (im pretty sure it was getting its info off of a blood donation q&a too?) so I figured i'd just ask here. I donate at CSL if its important

How much to list these for?

I was going through some old boxes and found some games, unfortunately I no longer have access to a PS4 and I don't intend on buying one at the moment.

I tried to look online for prices but I've seen them as low as $5 and as high as $180 so it's hard to put an appropriate price on them 😅

They weren't played a lot, and both discs are in pretty much perfect condition, they have a couple of smudges on the back, but no scratches as far as I could tell.

Banned for LOOKING AT the crypto TAB??

To be clear; I don't know anything about cryptocurrency besides bitcoin being insanely high in worth. I do not know why it doesn't make any since to me. With that being said, I was just looking around while trying to figure out how the hell to add money to my paypal wallet (wanted to transfer money from doner card to personal debit) and when I tried to leave the tab, it popped up with an error and said I was banned.

What the absolute fuck is going on with paypal? I haven't been on there in months, and suddenly the app is useless and the browser bans me???

New PC keeps restarting with the “Your device just ran into a problem and needs to restart” error

Fixed one problem just to have another pop up.

I built my PC about a week ago or so, give or take, first it was the DRAM light, which has been fixed, but now it keeps popping up with that error and restarting. I want to say its happened three times, but it might've been more?

This is the link to the build.

I've got a few things to do, but i'll try to respond as soon as I can if anyone has questions. Thanks in advance.

Is upgrading to windows 11 for free as of June 2026 still possible?

Asking because I can't find any official confirmation anywhere.

Red DRAM light is on, what can I do to turn it off?

Made a post about this the other day, but it never really went anywhere, so this is a semi-repost which is entirely rewritten.

This is the build.

The red light only seems to be present when the PC is powered down, the light turns off when I turn the PC on, I haven't noticed any changes in this. I do not know if this is normal or not, as this is my first PC.

I've read that the light can turn on due to issues with the CPU/GPU, so I've also checked all of the cords, taken them out and put them all back in to make sure they were all properly connected.

I also checked that the RAM was properly in before I put everything into the case.

The PC itself is running just fine, I had some slight issues with a game the first day, but it hasn't happened since, so I think it might've been a one time thing.

And at the advice of a stranger on reddit, I added a second cord from my PWS to the GPU, instead of daisy-chaining it (I originally only used the one cord as I was following a guide).

I'd appreciate any advice.

What cords are an absolute must have?

Hello! I just finished building my (first) PC! Unfortunately the monitor didn't come with the correct cable to connect to the PC. I'm new to this stuff, so I wanted to get confirmation on what I needed before I make the trip.

It's late for me, so I won't see any replies until morning, so thanks in advance!

edit: I have a gpu, and the cord that isn't compatible is the DP

Looking for advice on my first build

Hello! I've been wanting to build a pc for a long time, but unfortunately it's always just been pushed back by one thing or another (usually my car 🙄), but honestly, I don't really know much about building a pc, and only have a very basic (bordering ELI5) understanding of the components 😅

This is my list, it is missing a few things, but I was hoping to get some advice on the early draft, will it, y'know, work? Lol. I wouldn't say I had a specific budget in mind when I started putting it together a few days ago, but I'd like to stay in the 1k-2k range or lower-the lower the better-but I know that quality can be expensive, so don't worry about the budget too much if you're making a suggestion.

I plan to use it for casual everyday use, gaming, and potentially other things like coding or 3d rendering, neither of which I have experience with, but might try learning (I would also like to stream at some point, probably not for awhile though).

I play games like Wuthering Waves, Jurassic World Evolution, Paralives, Minecraft, and a few other like them. I don't need ultra graphics or anything, I'd be find with a balance of mid-high graphics (maybe be able to handle a few mods/shaders too, for mc anyways), I just don't want crazy stuttering/lag/overheating, which is usually what happens with my phone with certain games.

If you're suggesting parts (be it upgrades or downgrades from what I chose), I don't have a specific theme for the pc, I just don't want any rgb lighting, if it can be disabled then that's fine, I'm just not a fan, personally.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks for sticking around :,)

do note- I'll be unavailable to respond for roughly and hour or so after posting this, but then i'll be available for the rest of the day ^^

Screen randomly going black?

Not sure if this is a hardware or software issue, so I just put my operating system, sorry 😓

I have the acer aspire 3 15, and as the title says, it has a problem with the screen turning black at random, this can happen multiple times a day, or not at all. Sometimes audio will continue playing if I had a video/stream/game playing, but sometimes it would stop audio completely, almost like it completely powered off, but it never really does power off completly?

I haven't noticed a pattern to when this happens, it'll happen when I only have a few tabs open, or when I have multiple, it's even happened when i'm on my home screen with literally nothing open.

My town does have a repair place, but I was hoping to get some advice or solutions before it comes to repairs or replacements.

Thanks in advance

edit because I forgot to mention, it happens both when it's plugged in and not

How to make vivaldi's history behave more like chromes?

I got vivaldi a few days ago, and alls going pretty good, but one (of many) small things that's bugging me, is the search history. When I say I want it to "behave more like chrome," I mean more in regards to when you close a window with many tabs open.

In chrome, when you go to "history" it'll show you a folder of however many tabs you closed, and give you the option to open the entire window again, or just a few of the tabs, THAT is what I want on vivaldi, I don't want all of the tabs reopening automaticly when I open it up (since a lot of the time, I close a window spcificly to get rid of clutter), I want the option to reopen a window from, for example, the night before. Is there already a way to do this, that you have to enable in the settings? If so, how do I do that?

I like vivaldi but it's very confusing :,)

I have a lot more questions, unrelated to this spcific thing, but i'll probably play around in the setting more, see what I can change. If anyone is open to me messaging them my questions, please let me know!

Thank you

Help me switch!

With the way Google is going with AI, I've decided its time to switch, it's been something I've been putting off for a few years, but I'm finally getting around to it.

  • I am looking for a browser that is privacy focused, has positions against generative AI (and other forms of harmful AI) if there are AI features it has to be toggle-able.
  • Along with privacy, it's important that its something I can use daily for casual browsing (including videos/streams).
  • It would be nice if it had a mobile version, but again, limited options, so while its preferred, its not a requirement.
  • I don't care much for customization, as long as there is a dark mode i'm fine with that.
  • I use Windows and Android, I will not be changing from those.

I've heard of both LibreWolf and Mullvad (though I have yet to test either), I'm not really that knowledgeable about browsers and the technical side of things, and i've heard that Mullvad isn't really meant for casual browsing(?) so I'm looking for more options in general if Mullvad doesn't work out. I also know that Brave is an option but i'm not liking where they're headed so I will probably avoid it.

Any help or suggestions is appreciated!
