ALL RIGHT

So I just finished watching a rerun of this episode on NBC about an less than an hour ago (I'm in a PST area so it may be 3 AM for yall rn) but this episode was FREAKING FANTASTIC. The plot with Intelligence narrowing down Raymond Bell was so well written; I do agree with some people that Imani shouldn't have went into that house without backup and more when she almost had the entire unit write statements about her off-book break-in by order of Commander Devlin, but Voight handled it. And the way that Imani was so caring about Julie was honestly so sweet but I mean she still hadn't found her sister Shari yet so it made sense why she didn't want Julie to be potentially lost forever too.

So what I was gonna mainly talk to you guys about is that ending scene with Voight and Commander Devlin. That scene was very well made and showed that at some capacity Voight has changed. I was actually somewhat surprised that Voight was able to tell Devlin the truth about his childhood in such a calm manner. But the cherry on top for me was when Voight told him about his father's legacy and showed Devlin his badge holder and told him "If I didn't feel my father near me right now, you wouldn't live through this day." and what shocked me so much is that literally the moment he said that, the NBC logo disappeared from the bottom left corner of the screen. After the episode cut to Dick Wolf's credit, the only thing I felt was joy and happiness as crazy as that sounds 😂 but I also was repeating to myself "That was FUCKING incredible" like 30 or more times.

Disclaimer: (I did watch the episode when it first premiered but I wasn't paying full attention to the episode at the time)

Anyways, I just think that this episode and that ending scene overall, was very well made. You guys can disagree with me as much as you want and say this was a horrible episode but I actually think this was one of the best Season 13 episodes of all time imo, of course along with all the Voight centric episodes of this season.

Let me know what you guys think about this. But again, this episode was fire imo 🔥

Rank Chicago P.D. Season 13 Episodes From Best To Worst (In Your Honest Opinion)

My honest ratings (Some of the episodes listed may have lower ratings than most but that is only because I'm rating them based on the first time I watched them live on NBC)

13x07 (Fall Finale): 7/10

13x08 (Midseason Premiere): 7.25/10

13x09: 6/10

13x10: 6.5-7/10 (Yes ik pls don't come after me for this rating)

13x11: 6.5/10

13x14: 6.5/10

13x15: 7-8/10

13x16: 6.8/10

13x17: 7-7.5/10

13x18: (Missed the first 20 mins) 6/10

13x19: 6.5/10 (It would have been like a 6.8 but because Voight wasn't in the episode it brought down the rating a little bit but the only reason it's at a 6.5 only is because the main investigation wasn't that interesting for me but also because Bob's death was peaceful and so well written and filmed and made me tear up a little bit (Also a tiny part of it was that Trudy returned after 4 episodes of absence)

13x20 (Penultimate Episode): 7.9/10

13x21 (Season Finale): 7/10

Let me know your ratings!

Old School Voight In The Chicago P.D. Season 11 Finale, Season 12 Finale, And Season 13 Finale

Out of all the finales listed in the title, which finale do you think showed the darkest side of Hank in the last few years and in your honest opinion?

>!!<Season 11 Finale: Hank kills Matson by gouging his eyes out and bashing his head into the floor while getting flashbacks of the Season 3 Finale and Season 8 Finale.

>!!<Season 12 Finale: Voight orchestrates Reid's death by telling Renny Otero about how Reid made his dad suffer and die, then gave him Reid's future location.

>!!<Season 13 Finale: Voight knocks Kirby to the ground after intercepting him, nearly gets shot by him, and kills Kirby by slamming his skull into a door.

Let me know what you guys think!

Did Anybody Notice This Small But Significant Detail?!?!

So I am new to the Chicago Med Fire and P.D. Reddit threads and this is like my first r/ChicagoPD Reddit thread post ever, so nice to meet all of you!!!

Anyways...

So the thing I was going to ask you guys is that did any of guys notice at the end of the One Chicago Crossover Event 2026 at around the 52-53 min mark during Reckoning Part III(This is because I watched the crossover live on NBC when it first premiered) that when Voight was sitting in the front row of the chairs in the hall where they had Cranston's funeral reflecting on him shooting Thomas Marr fatally in the chest that when the camera panned over to Marr's dead body that he looked almost exactly like Reid when he died because he was wearing a suit and the way his body was positioned on the ground? And there was a subtle moment where I actually noticed Voight's facial expression slightly changed like he was alarmed by something so its possible he could have been reminded of when Reid died just the way Marr died the same way except this time Voight shot the person that was trying to harm him and his allies instead of asking a dead drug dealer's son to kill the person instead.

Idk what you guys think about this but in my opinion, I think that this was a detail not many people noticed. Let me know what you guys think!

(There are also pictures above so you can see what I'm trying to cross reference)
