Crazy Putty!

Might be the dirtiest joke I've heard on 30 Rock.
Can you think of worse/better? <3

Citizen Folding Pocket TV

Just happened upon a listing for this TV on eBay. Memories came back. It was 1979, I was on a trip with my Gran and we'd stopped into a KMart in Petaluma/Penngrove/Santa Rose California and I HAD TO HAVE IT!!

EDIT TO CORRECT: Initially said it was 1989 and that was wrong.

And I got it.
It wasn't that great. LOL

you flipped the lid open and light reflected through the LCD in the lid and projected the image onto the mirror. The advertised screen size was 2.54 inches, but that was wholly dependent on getting the right reflection, the right angle onto the mirror. Either way, you had your nose to the screen. And forget picking up anything entertaining if we went slightly rural (which is where we were heading that day; to the summer house in the redwoods).

Compound..... Contractions?

We all say "I'd've" (I would have), "shouldn't've" (should not have), "s/he'd've" (s/he would have)....funny. I'm noticing all the ones I know have 'have' in them.

Anyway...we all say them, but how often do you write them?

When I Googled, the most compounded one that came up in early results was "Y'all'd've" (you all would have), which I've never used, but "y'all" is not a term I commonly use.

(I'm in N Central California now and grew up 50/50 in San Francisco and London)
