MA state cadet program
I could use some advice.
After high school, I served four years in the Army. Since then, I've spent the last couple of years in college pursuing an engineering degree. I've had a few engineering internships, and I'm starting to think the field just isn't for me.
Lately, I've found myself much more interested in becoming a Massachusetts State Trooper than working as an engineer or as a municipal police officer. I noticed that Massachusetts has a cadet program for people ages 18–25, and I'm considering applying.
The only thing holding me back is that I'm 24, and I keep wondering if I'm getting into this too late.
Has anyone here gone through the cadet program? If so, what was your experience like, and would you recommend it? I would apply to just state trooper but no listing have come up for it in the last year or so
