Any idea how this extruder jam developed?
I'm really having trouble imaging how this occurred.
When I saw notification that the print had finished, I discovered that it had spent the last half . No blob on the nozzle. Tried to heat the nozzle and do a cold pull, zero movement. The filament had split into three as it exited the extruder (as shown in the simple illustration to clarify what the photos show), and of course the gears had ground it from there.
I'm trying to figure out how this happens when there's nothing else obviously wrong. If the filament's dimensions simply weren't consistent, then presumably it couldn't have made it this far. After clearing the jam, the repeat print went perfectly.
Any recommendations on alternate extruders for my K1 Max to prevent this?
