So I stopped in the staff lot for 5 minutes to grab my diploma quickly, it wasn’t packed whatsoever.
Come back & within that small time frame I was ticketed $50.
I already picked up my diploma & have graduated. Do I need to pay this fine?
Hello all,
Wanted to get everyone’s opinions on this. After a little bit of time I’ve finally scored the job I wanted. We’ll call this Job A.
In the meantime of waiting for an interview, I took on a different job in the event I didn’t get Job A. We’ll call this Job B. I’ve been at Job B for almost one month.
The start date for Job A is quite soon, which is a bit less than two weeks. Is it acceptable for me to give Job B resignation notice of less than two weeks?
I’m not one to burn any bridges. I got into both jobs through referrals so it’s even more pertinent to leave on good terms. However, I am not going to sacrifice Job A to give a slightly longer notice to Job B, especially considering I have yet to pass my probationary period and could be let go at any time by this company anyway.
Is a week/week & a half notice acceptable considering my circumstances?
