We have a small office in London with a single multifunction A3/A4 laser printer that is reaching end of life.
I'm looking for recommendations for a company which can supply us with a new printer that we then pay monthly (lease on the machine + usage) and would love any recommendations or good experiences people have!
There's some completely inscrutable drama taking place at the moment and I'm very curious to know more!
Edit: Sorry for vagueposting. I don't really know myself so didn't want to make any authoritative claim to a summary, but here's my understanding:
In the last couple of months, there was an email announcement that one of their members had requested the contact data of every other member and that, following legal advice, the society had complied and provided it.
Following that, they announced the slate for votes for the new board positions and said that one of the people standing had an anonymous complaint about them which would be indicated in the information sheet. There was also a lengthy note from the current board on that person's statement responding to it directly which is unusual.
Today, I got in the post the letter that was presumably the result of the request I mentioned for contact data which is from the person who the society seems to be going out of their way to prevent being voted onto the board kind of outlining what's going on from his perspective. He alleges a large degree of financial mismanagement all of which seems relatively supported by the data and says that the board seem to be going out of their way to prevent him from being elected.
It all sounds very messy and, as someone who is mostly a member for the VEG-1 discount, is beyond my ability to work out the facts of the matter. It is interesting that the person in question has previously been chair and seems to be the person who formulated VEG-1 in the first place.
I'd just love to hear more info from someone on the inside and this seemed the likeliest place to find it 😄
