After posting some of my works at watercolor subs some people have advised me to post here since they might think it will be a fit. I do aim mostly for the process but sometimes the outcomes turn out nice. Hope you like it 💜
First ever mandala
I've started drawing and painting maybe half a year ago and today I kinda unprompted drew a mandala like image. It was oddly therapeutic and I will make more in the future.
Daily practice
Watercolor and fineliner. I will probably add a bit more shadow later on but i kinda feel good on how this turned out.
What type of liners do you use when you first use ink then wash? The ones that I have currently are not waterproof.
Daily practice
Imaginary mushroom. First image i drew without reference, feel like it unlocked something.
Daily practice
Iris flower - looks nice but once you take a closer look its a lot more complicated. Those petals just go all over the place.
Daily (somewhat failed) practice
Failed with the pizza, the avocado is nice. Loose watercolor is a big challenge for me if I dont have a super well defined sketch I struggle. I think the avocado went well because its so simple and pizza sadly is what it is.
Daily Practice
Once again gotta keep it up daily. Ink and watercolor. It ended up a little wonky and assimetrical but I still like it.
Daily pratice
When i started few months ago I was so disappointed how much i sucked so I abandoned the whole project. I returned and decided that every day I will do a little sketch. Doesn't have to be much. And I actually made progress this way, well at least I no longer hate them. Ink and watercolor.
