Was surprised to see people complaining about the game, then thought about it.

I'm surprised no-one talks about this. You get both pretty early, and with them, you can travel along almost any wall, get to Evra really, really easily, skip across pits... it's impressive how much it ups your movement ability. It opens up the game world ridiculously.
