How do I Change the Background Color when Zooming and Erasing to Transparency/Alpha?
By default, when zooming and erasing to transparency GIMP automatically changes the background color to a sort of middle grey tone. I'm working with some black and white images and the middle grey tone just muddies what I've erased.
Edit: To clarify, I'm speaking about the automatic color that GIMP adds over the transparency grid when you zoom in on pixels. Not the autofill color you get when erasing without an alpha channel, and not a second layer beneath the primary one with another color. Although that method came to mind when I was asking this question, and definitely fixes my main issue. I'd still like to know if it's possible to change that weird zoom-mask-thing.
