Hi! I (21F) currently rent a condo with 3 other college students. With graduation around the corner, our landlord has been doing tours of the house with new possible tenants. While we are on good terms with our landlord, she hasn’t given us 24 hour notice of these tours, and often tells us 2 hours before possible tenants tour the property. We’ve asked her to abide by CA guidelines to give us 24 hours before possible notice, but she has stated she doesn’t have to adhere to that because in the contract we signed, she only has to give 4 hour notice. Can someone please clarify if this is the case? We are really uncomfortable with the short notices we keep receiving of strangers being in our space! Thank you
