Is it worth buying silver jewellery from brands like Shaya or Giva? Do they have any resell value like gold jewellery?

I often like their jewellery designs but never buy them as they are more expensive than fashion jewellery and I am not sure about their resell value.

Someone please guide me on it.

Why people pretend 36 years age is old in India?

I am 36F. Lean and fit, looks much younger than my age like most millennials. Dont have any bad habit. I run a startup in Bangalore, happily married with my same age husband and no kid yet.

I spend my entire day working, exercising, eating my protein, spending romantic time with my husband and basically minding my own business.

But every time I will share my opinion on reddit about something, men will comment on my age. They will call me their mother's age or even "geriatric age" (a doctor who was giving lecture about fertility, called me that).

One 55 years old man was looking for a 30 years old bride and when I questioned why he is looking for such a young bride, he said "fertility". When I pointed out the obvious fact that having a kid at 55 is not fair for the kid as by the time the kid will be 20, the father will be super old, he called me "aunty".

This is just annoying. How exactly these old men calling younger women aunty or geriatric age or even mother age? I am pretty sure I am not old enough to be their mother, unless their real mothers were minor and was r*ped by their father to breed these useless men.

While in USA, 70 years women lift weight and run marathon, date or hike. Here in India, people pretend 36 is super old.

No wonder India is such a poor country. With such horrible mindset, I doubt India will ever progress.

Any millennials women feel the same?

Why some men are so comfortable saying this out loud that they view women as baby making machine?

So I came across a post where a man is saying how IVF is expensive (its not that expensive) and men should marry 5-6 years younger women to save IVF cost.

And when I stated the obvious that if someone does not have money for IVF, most probably that couple should should think of having kid at the first place, he started basically saying women should pay for IVF because she is the one who is not young anymore. The AUDACITY of these men!!!

That made me question, why these type of Indian men are so comfortable behaving like this online and real life? Are we women only baby making machine for them?

Just imagine a man is marrying you ONLY for your uterus. Can you even imagine!!!!

But they will call every woman "Gold Digger" if she ask for basic comforts like separate households, maids, nannies. Many of such men even send their pregnant wives to their parent's house so that they won't have to provide nutrition and medical checkup to their wives during pregnancy.

Why Indian women are even marrying this type of men?

Do you feel India is going backward?

I am 36F. When I was a very young child, there was a sudden boom among kids to be more science minded and having a progressive mind towards gender dynamic. People in city, used to feel ashamed to talk about regressive hateful stuff openly as they used to fear judgement. They had American dream in their mind and wanted to grow up wealthy and progressive.

But now at this age, I feel everything is going backward. When I look at young teenage boys, most are extremely misogynist and problematic. They say absolutely vile regressive stuff about caste, religion, women, openly. The boy child preference and sxx selective ab*rtion is coming back in full force.

In last 2 years, I have heard so many news about mass ab*rtion rackets in India. Men have become extremely active online and spewing misogyny 24x7. They are even supporting horrible crimes like burning wives alive and so on.

Lots of news of dowry death coming in news again. And men online are supporting it.

There was a reel where the lady doctor was scolding a man for getting his wife pregnant again and again for a boy child. She told him his wife is very sick and should not have any more kids. But the man want a boy. The men in comment section saying he has a right for a boy. The wife has to produce.

Honestly, as a young kid, I had hope for India. I though in next 25 years, India will become a smart educated rich progressive country. And India was growing. But now I feel everything is going backward. People are more interested in religious hatred, castisism, misogyny than making any scientific discovery.

Whats your opinion about it? Do you have any hope left?

PS - before you marry a man, please do a background check on his online activity. Trust me, his Instagram and X comments are more important to consider than his salary.
