So what’s been the W2 hotel situation?

Are they actually honoring the 10pm cutoff rule they stated?

I am asking because for W1, this same rule was on IG and on the signage at the hotel, but the security staff were not honoring it and were requiring hotel wristbands earlier in the day (at literally 2pm on Sunday).

After 7 or 8 years of attending Splash, this W1 was potentially irredeemable for us either way, but if there’s any chance of us returning, we would need to hear that they at least course-corrected for W2.

Haven’t seen as many complaints here or in the IG comments so maybe they did fix the issue? However I’m also seeing some potential signs that they could be deleting (not hiding) IG comments. So not sure what to think.

Just had my therapy appointment

Of course it came up that I had gone to splash house (W1) since my last appointment. I did not intend to go into the particulars around the >hotel situation< as this is of course not profoundly relevant to my mental health.

Turns out she already knew about the hotel situation because TWO other clients were complaining about it!!!!

Word spreads like wildfire I guess. Would never have expected this scandal to make it to my therapist lol

Good luck W2, I hope they fix all the problems and you have a beautiful weekend ❤️

FYI - Ren

It’s 2:10pm and they are already asking for hotel wristbands. We finessed our way through but I think you can expect an even greater degree of neuroticism today.

The dog was asleep though lmao

Too many new rules that weren’t communicated well or at all

I’m not mad at the rules but can we just have them be clearly communicated so we can plan around them?

The scene at the entrance to Ren is sitcom level absurd

They are trying to do like 12 different activities within the 20 square feet after the main entrance. It’s so chaotic. Bags on the floor bc the dog is sniffing them (not just luggage, ostensibly all bags). Employees plowing through the area with full baggage carts. Guy at a little podium just nondescriptly angry at everyone, losing his shit. It’s so overstimulating lmao
