Akrapovic mid pipe + slip on, upshift pops.
Looking to see if this is just the nature of this exhaust or if I need to look into another solution. Bike came with a full akrapovic setup and had some pretty gnarly pops on upshift. Got the ECU flashed and the AIS has been blocked off, but still on some upshifts this sucker POPS. Sometimes it's just a little overkill for riding around town. It's not decel pops, just when upshifting.
Ive ordered the db killer to see if it can lessen the intensity, but I was just wondering if anyone with the same setup can let me know if they have a similar situation. Or if I might have to look into a proper dyno tune to work them out.
Edit: On my ride home i thought about the QS stuff and paid attention. My QS doesnt disengage when I clutch in, so even when I clutch shift it was still using the QS. Simply made a mode with it disabled and no more popping. I'll look into why it's not disengaging.
