Can an XLR to 1/4 instrument cable mic a bass drum?
If I already have the 4 XLR slots full on my mixer could I plug an XLR to 1/4 instrument cable into one of the line inputs on my mixer to mic a bass drum?
Sorry if this is an obvious question, I'm a newbie.
Bonus question: Would a XLR to 1/4 TRS only work for something like a keyboard where I can turn up the input volume on the keyboard before going into the mixer?
