How legit is Tulpa switching actually?

I’ve heard a lot about Tulpa switching when you switch consciousness with your Tulpa and I’ve heard many stories on how their switching experience was but my question is how legit it actually is/ how legit you think it is or even if you’ve had any experience with Tulpa switching

Does anyone remember the micro celebrities on lucid dreaming forums?

im fairly new to this community ( about one year ago i joined ) so I wasn’t one of the people on the lucid dreaming forums back in the day but I’ve heard a lot of stuff about them. one of the things that I heard about where micro celebrities of a kind on these forums that did something insane and then just disappeared. for example on the lucid dreaming forum dream views there was a person called MyLiness that said he was going to have the ” infinite lucid dream ” and that he was gonna live out the rest of his life in the dream world. he still hasn’t returned and no one knows if he actually went through with it. same with a guy on LD4ALL named Pedro that invented the WILD technique ( it’s not confirmed though cause his account is gone ) and he had year long lucid dreams and eventually disappeared.

has anyone heard of more people like this or these specific people im curious to hear what people have to say!

Has anyone heard about the neuromancy community?

I’ve heard about a lot of people trying to hallucinate their tulpas and coming up with some wild methods to do it. The people who did that made a community called the "neuromancy community". But it’s pretty much dead now since it was big back in 2010.

I’m trying to find some more info on it. Are there any forums or groups still doing this? I wanna learn how to train myself to hallucinate and especially try to hallucinate my tulpa.

If you know anything or have stuff to share please tell me I’m really curious what people think!

Is Melatonin helpful for getting lucid dreams in the long term?

3 months ago i decided to buy melatonin to see what effects it would have on my dreams ( I haven’t had the need for insomniacs ) or if i could get more lucid dreams from it. The first 2 weeks i got an increase in lucid dreams and my dreams became more memorable and realistic. And I know it is because my REM sleep gets pushed to the end of the night so everthing is more surreal. But after this 2 week period the dreams stopped being realistic and i

started experiencing a decrease in lucid dreams even Though I kept using melatonin. Is it cause my brain adapted to it or what is it? Tell me your experiences or if you have any idea why this happened I’m really interested to hear!

Does the Third Man Factor count as a Tulpa?

the third man factor is a effect that happens when your brain knows you can’t survive something ( for example: you’re stuck in a really bad snow storm on a mountain ) so it kind of duplicates itself and makes you hallucinate a figure helping and guiding you through the danger but if you make it out it suddenly vanishes to never be seen by anyone. now on the other hand a Tulpa is a imaginary friend that ” speaks “ back to you because you’ve manifested it. are these similar in any way? if you have a Tulpa and you get in a near death situation will your Tulsa be there trying to help you instead? or does this just have nothing to do with the Third Man Factor?

Are there any lucid daydreaming techniques?

I’ve heard about lucid daydreaming before and I’m really interested in finding methods on it. I’ve been able to go into pretty deep daydreaming territory but not anything close to lucid daydreaming and I really wanna try it out like a activity to do while bored.
