Blasting my favorite Panopticon album as I patiently await the arrival of the newest release in today’s mail. I’ve done well to avoid hearing it as of yet, so I’m pretty stoked to give it a spin. But until then, the classics will do.
Also, Austin Lunn would definitely be a grass trainer.
Panopticon- Roads to the North
I alluded yesterday to having an album currently seated in the number one position for the year, and here it is! (Along with its predecessor) Again, I felt this album had been posted rather recently so I wanted to spruce my post up by including more of OG’s discography.
They’re both incredibly good albums, and the latter will certainly be a formidable opponent to any remaining releases yet to come this year.
Oldowan Gash- Hubris Unchained (2020); Oldowan Gash- 1000 Dreams of War (2026)
This album will almost certainly land somewhere near the top of my end-of-the-year countdown. I enjoy it more each time that I listen to it. If it weren’t for the album I plan to post tomorrow, I’d be saying that this one currently sat atop my rankings. However…
Hajduk- Хвърковата чета
Would saying this album art reminds me of Hackdirt be *too* nerdy of a reference?
Obsequiae- Aria of Vernal Tombs

Not much left to say about Nahtrunar that I haven’t already said in one of my previous posts. I try not to glaze too hard, but this band just keeps getting better and better. It’s been a hell of a ride since Symbolismus.
Nahtrunar- Sphären
Hooray! Now I can finally stop complaining on the internet about not having Celestial Twilight. Scissors and Out of Season came through in the clutch! Being in New England always makes OoS an easy choice, ships here in like two days once the post office gets their hands on it.
But anyway, considering how often this one has been posted here recently I figured I’d spice my contribution up a bit by including the whole three piece SM discography. One of my favorite new symphonic projects, I really hope it keeps going for a bit.

I refreshed Creep Purple on and off for twelve fucking hours to get this shit. And, somehow, I didn’t even get the speed metal EP.
Here’s to hoping pressing number two isn’t such a shit show because if I didn’t already have their entire discography I wouldn’t even bother. It’s not like they’re topping Rainbow Nights anytime soon.
