One of my all time favorites from the Swedish death metal scene. Unfortunately they’re often overlooked in favor of some of Sweden’s numerous heavy hitters. But you’d be wise to not overlook this sleeping giant of OSDM.

God Macabre- The Winterlong

I don’t think it’s a crazy leap to imply that this is their best work. A consistent discography, for sure. But they definitely peaked here

Keeping my spins icy cold today, we have have Finland’s Funebre. I love this album, and it’s just another example of Finnish excellency when it comes to metal.

I’m not really a big picture disc guy, I’ve maybe got about 10 of them. So they tend to slip through the cracks

Some classic UK OSDM to kick off the evening. I have been spinning this record so much recently. Really an all-timer

When I first started switching from CDs to records (2016-2017) this was the first black metal record I added to my burgeoning collection. Granted, I had plenty of black metal on CD, but this was the first album to get the vinyl treatment.
