My 3-year-old adores this game
My wife and brother in law played this the other day and she had to give it a go for herself. She absolutely adores being a menace... Which is completely opposite to her normal attitude 😂

I'm looking for games where either it was made by Canadian Devs, or you play as Canada/Canadians/a Canadian.
I'm a fan of most genres of games, so I'm pretty flexible on what kinds of games, and even if a DLC is required. Bonus points if:
-JTF2 Is mentioned/playable
-The Dev(s) is/are entirely Canadian
Games I have grown attached to for this reason:
-Civ6: (Strategy, 4x) getting massive bonuses to culture, being unable to declare surprise wars (and vice versa) and great for playing towards a diplomatic victory, the playable nation of Canada is a fun twist on the usual gameplay.
-Medal Of Honor: Warfighter: (FPS, Modern) In multiplayer you were able to play as a JTF2 operator, specializing in an elite playstyle.
-Rainbow Six Siege: (FPS, Modern) 2 Operators are Canadian, both are JTF2.
-Steel Division 2: (RTS, WW2) A DLC allows you to play as the Canadian forces. Typically focusing on fast light-armoured gameplay
-Hardspace Shipbreaker (Space, Blue Collar): Made by Canadian devs, this little game holds a special place in my heart. Manage your Oxygen, and watch for dangers as you break down old spaceships for the corporation and pay off your debt.
-Balatro: (Roguelike, Poker) please go give Balatro a try if you've never heard of it.
-Starvaders: (Roguelike, Mechs) Canadian indie devs made this fun puzzle roguelike game. I often find myself humming the music days after I've put the game down for a bit.
-Mass Effect: (Sci Fi, RPG) Published by EA, but BioWare comes from Canada. Mass Effect was an incredible sci Fi epic where you save the galaxy
Excited to hear what else is potentially out there!
I came to the conclusion recently that I adore games that simulate a blue collar job in a sci-fi setting. Some games I've played include:
-Elite Dangerous: I was a space trucker and miner mostly. I let the other guys in my group do the fighting.
- Hardspace Shipbreaker: I bought this on a whim seeing it on a "games made in Canada" steam sale. Feeling patriotic, I figured I'd play the game for a few hours and have some fun. It quickly became an addictive experience, and my 3-year-old loved sitting on my lap mimicking the "oxygen low" bleeps.
-Deep Space Exploitation: simple little 2d game about mining space rocks. Played the demo for about 30 minutes and instantly bought it.
-Lightyear Frontier: reminiscent of the Love, Death, And Robots short "Suits" this game answers the question of what a peaceful farm in the far future might look like. You pilot a mech, yeet massive logs, and overall enjoy an extremely chill experience with no pressures or rush.
-StarRupture: I haven't played Satisfactory, but I've been enjoying building factories for the corporation, exploring the map and getting eaten by space bugs.
I'm sure there's a few more I can't think of, but I love sci-fi, and as much as I'd like to say that now I'm a dad I don't play shooters much but truth is I moved away from competitive shooters and action games years ago. Hit me with your suggestions!
