How are you guys dealing with friend activities where everyone brings their partner ?

I've been single for a few months, and it's the first time I've decided to actively not commit to someone and stay single. I feel more free and happy than ever because now I am solely responsible for only my well-being, but I sometimes feel out of place in social activities. My friends try to not make me feel excluded, so I'm lucky for that, but it's true nonetheless that they have someone in the room they will inevitably gravitate towards. In addition, when they speak of relationship issues or simply anecdotes, I hesitate how I can contribute to the conversation. How have you guys navigated this reality?
