30 year old gamer in Scotland looking for Switch 2 friends to play games with.

I'm a gamer, primarily a Nintendo fan, but occasionally play other systems, and would like to meet other people who are like minded.

It would be great to meet people to chat about what they're currently playing on Switch 2, or other Nintendo systems, what YouTube videos or TV shows they've seen lately, and play online or local multiplayer games casually?

I've had every Nintendo system since the DS at launch, and miss being able to play local multiplayer with friends like when we were kids. It would be nice to play multiplayer games like Mario Party, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, stuff on the Nintendo Classic NSO apps, or even older DS, Wii, 3DS locally if we are close by.

I'm also interested in playing Big Walk potentially as well on Switch 2 at some point.

Other things about me, I am happily partnered. Love walking our dog together, going to the cinema, seeing gigs, comedy shows. Occasionally reading and playing board games too.

I'm in Glasgow, Scotland for irl friends and local multiplayer but online UK would be ideal for time zones. I work 9-5 but usually can play in evenings.

If you're interested send me a DM, and we can chat a bit, maybe share our Switch friend codes and get some games set up. 😊

Speculation. What do you think are the odds of a port being as part of a Simpsons Classic Game collection.

After seeing this post earlier, I've been thinking about the possibility of a collection of classic games.

Recently there has been quite an uptick in these types of collections with just off the top of my head there being the recent Rugrats Retro collection, TMNT collection, classic Rayman, Tetris, Tomb Raider and even an upcoming Barbie game collection.

It seems rights holders are realising that they are leaving money on the table and there is a huge number of Simpsons games they could include from the early NES ones right up to The Simpsons Game which would of course include our beloved Hit and Run.

I've just come to the realisation that this is the most likely option now. What are your thoughts on this?

Streetpass Party at Pride - Can we make this a thing?

I was inspired by this post last week to see what folk's thoughts were on making this a thing.

My cities Pride is on the 18th July. Last year 50,000 people went. I plan on going this year with my 3DS too and hopefully at least some people would have their 3DS on them too.

If you're going to your local pride march/parade/festival, and feel comfortable, I think it would be such a fun idea to bring your 3DS with you for Streetpass hits too.

If the community made it a thing at Prides across the world, it could become a reliable way to get hits and revive this wonderful niche of the 3DS, even if only for 1 day.
