Yes his socks were pink… it was Valentine’s Day and I wanted to make him pretty 😌🤣 (I was also curious and wanted to see how well “doggy hair dye” worked. The brand was Opawz pet dye. Works pretty good! Stays on for a few weeks but it did fade pretty quickly after he peed on his paws 🥲. This was after application and waiting for it to dry.)
She’s always got a bone to pick with him 🤣 (she’s 2.5mo and a purebred Caucasian Shepherd) I honestly don’t feel like she could have a better (non-human) teacher. He’s always so gentle with the babies but gives good firm corrections when he needs to. I genuinely value his patience and help, because some things other dogs will need to correct her on as it won’t have the same effect if I do.
So- I literally just woke up and went to the bathroom for the first time and when I went in, I saw poop on the floor. Now at first I was VERY concerned because it was CLEARLY rat poop and my first thought was “oh god does my new place have rats” before I realised… no… I in fact, have the rats and even brought them here lol. WELL I take the liberty to move the towels off of the floor and THERE SHE IS. IN ALL HER GLORY- EATING MY SWEATSHIRT. girl. Why? I don’t even know what to say other than she’s so lucky that I caught her before (I hate to say this, but it’s the truth) my Caucasian Shepherd puppy did. (No, Sid wouldn’t hurt her, they’ve been introduced safely- I’m just afraid of a heart attack because I know that can happen) anyways. Pictures of the escapee “unhand me you FUCK” criminal. Shame her. 🤣
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I believe it is in my girls best interest that I rehome them. I am not doing well mentally or financially right now and it is not fair to my girls to be stuck in the cage most of the time. I do not have the mental capacity right now to be taking them out and handling them daily, I do not have enough spare money to buy them the proper cage or a free roam setup, I am not doing right by them and they deserve better. I got stuck in a depressive state after losing both Peeter and Benjy in a short span and I need time to process and recover from that and it is unfair to them to have to wait. They are all three girls, none are spayed, none are pregnant or have had any babies. They are all approx 6mo. No health issues, litter box trained, very sweet. If they had the choice between free roam and cuddles, they’d choose free roam and I don’t have any way to give them that. I am also suffering severe allergies when cleaning their cage (spot cleaning weekly and deep clean monthly) due to the ammonia (this was also an issue with cats when I fostered.) I need someone who will take them and love them. I am not asking anything for them other than they not be used as feeders and treated with love, kindness and compassion. I want what’s best for them and unfortunately right now that isn’t with me. I hate this. I hate that I’m making this but this isn’t about what I want or how I might be perceived, this is about my girls, their wellbeing and their best interest. Please help. If anyone knows any rescues I could potentially take them to as well that would be wonderful, I just refuse to make them wait around for me any more. Thank you.
