HVAC repair folks

Anyone that does HVAC in the side... available to check an outdoor unit today? I believe the capacitor has gone bad. The fanblade doesn't spin but it does hum.

I'm helping out a friend in a hard spot to get it looked at and was looking for someone today or tomorrow? Located in Sulphur Springs area.

How can I tell if the capacitor is bad?

The AC has been struggling a bit lately. And then today, the outside unit just stopped turning on.

I had read that the capacitor is usually something that goes bad but I can't tell if this is bad or not by looking at it. I don't see any bulging?

Also, is it the bigger one or the smaller one? 🤔

AC question

Does anyone know a guy or gal that does AC repair that can check the refrigerant level on our outside unit?

I know it's getting warmer and sometimes they just can't keep up, especially for the upstairs level. But I'm wondering if the refrigerant is low?

We had a guy that was retired but still licenced and did stuff on the side, but he's since passed away.

We are just wondering if the Freon needs a boost or if the AC needs repair.

It cools off overnight but takes a while.

Thanks!
