Would you trust a 3D-printed fluid component if the manufacturer provided validated print parameters and pressure/temperature test data?
I'm considering an open-source library of parametrically generated fittings, manifolds, adapters, reservoirs etc. The CAD generators would be open source, while a commercial service would manufacture and test parts using validated material/process combinations.
I'm particularly interested in applications involving cooling loops, compressed air, laboratory equipment and custom machinery.
What applications would you actually pay for this rather than machining the part?
