[Tesla Cam AP4] Hit-and-run in Vienna, Austria; a few seconds earlier and he would have T-boned me.
I was heading home when a Audi came flying down the street at a ridiculous speed and slammed straight into a parked car. The impact was pretty big, fairly certain both vehicles are totaled and it literally ripped concrete sidewalk bollards right out of the ground.
If I were driving a bit quicker (was slow driving to comply with the 30 kmh zone and due to the unregulated intersection)he would have T-boned me directly on the passenger side.
Because my immediate instinct was to pull over, hit save on the dashcam app and run over to see if anyone was injured, the recording cuts off right after the impact.
here's my wtf moment: the driver immediately got out of the wrecked Audi and fled the scene on foot. A few minutes later, a woman (presumably his partner or the actual owner of the Audi) showed up out of nowhere, frantically asking the gathering crowd of bystanders which direction the driver had run.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt (no idea about the driver lol). Cops were happy about this and that I got footage of the crash.
